Carl R. Johnson was appointed Vice President, Southeast Region, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, in 1986.

Prior to being appointed to his present position, Mr. Johnson had been General Manager of Westinghouse's Industrial and Government Tube Division in Horseheads, New York since 1979. He began his career in 1958 with the Hogan Chemicals and Control Company, which was subsequently acquired by Westinghouse.

Mr. Johnson became Utility Sales Manager in Westinghouse's Computer and Instrumentation Division in 1969 and was named Manager, Instrumentation Department in 1974. In 1978, Mr. Johnson was named Manager, U.S. Operations, for the Computer and Instrumentation Division with headquarters in Orlando, FL.

A native of Williamstown, West Virginia, Mr. Johnson graduated from electrical engineering at WVU in 1958. While a student, he was elected to Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi.

He was inducted as part of the Inaugural Academy on October 20, 1989.
