A native of Preston County, Don P. Rodeheaver received a BSEE degree from WVU in 1948 and started with the Monongahela Power Company as a junior engineer. After various assignments he was promoted to the position of Director, Engineering and Construction in 1970, a position he held until his retirement December 1, 1990, after more than 42 years of service.

Don has been very active in supporting the Electrical Power Industry and in obtaining the support of various power companies for a Power Professorship in the Department of ECE at WVU. The Monongahela Power Company has been a very loyal supporter of many programs at WVU.

He is a member of IEEE and other professional organizations as well as a member of the Fairmont Rotary Club and a member of the Valley Chapel Church.
