Ronald C. Whigham





B.S. Electrical Engineering, West Virginia University, 1959

Ronald C. Whigham received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University in 1959.

In 1986, Mr. Whigham was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Powerex, Inc., in Youngwood, Pennsylvania.

Prior to assuming his present assignment, he held the position of President & Chief Operating Officer of Comdial Corporation, a publicly traded company that manufactures electronic key telephone systems, semiconductors, and telephone services.

From 1959 to 1984 he was with Westinghouse Electric Corporation where his assignments included General Manager, Electronic Components Division; General Manager, Semiconductor Division; and Director of Manufacturing, Components & Materials Group. Prior to these assignments, he held other management positions at the Semiconductor Division including Operations; Materials; Quality & Reliability; Applications and Ratings Engineering.

He was inducted as part of the Inaugural Academy on October 20, 1989.
